Counseling Services

The guidance staff of Center Line High School is committed to providing assistance to every student in all phases of high school life. A student should see a counselor:

  • to seek scheduling information.
  • to select a curriculum, make career plans, or prepare for opportunities following high school.
  • to obtain information about college applications and entrance tests, or an interpretation of standardized test scores.
  • to talk about personal problems.
  • Students must see their assigned counselor for any matter concerning graduation, credits earned, schedule changes, and high school schedule planning.

Anyone wishing to see a counselor is asked to make an appointment through the secretary in the counseling office, preferably one day in advance. Only those with prearranged appointments are allowed to wait in the counseling office, except in emergencies.

Current information and literature on careers, colleges and universities, vocational schools, scholarships and tests are available in the counseling office.
