District Goals:
- To ensure that 100% of our students are prepared for success as measured by local, state and national standards.
- To expand and nurture community relationships.
CLPS Mission:
Center Line Public Schools, in partnership with the community, will provide
an exemplary education that develops adaptable, self motivated, life-long learners.
Accreditation:
Center Line High School has been fully accredited by the North Central
Association since 1956.
Core Curriculum:
The Curriculum Revision process is on a five year cycle with curriculum
reviews as it relates to alignment of the Michigan Standards and Benchmarks
and adoption on new resources to support the curriculum. The core curriculum
K-12 is available in each school building.
Highly Qualified Teachers:
All Center Line Public Schools teachers possess the professional qualifications
to meet the federal and state standards. Many teachers have completed advanced
degrees.
AYP:
AYP status (Adequate Yearly Progress) is a measure used to hold schools and
districts responsible for student achievement based on MEAP results. Center
Line High School received a composite grade of "A" for the 2009-2010
school year and made AYP.
College Testing:
In October, our school provides an opportunity for your child to take the
Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. There are
costs associated with these tests. The Preliminary SAT/National Merit
Scholarship test usually costs around $12. The Michigan Math Test
generally costs around $3.
